Polymer Engineering

Research Overview

The group led by Prof. Dr. Gunnar Seide focusses on polymer engineering and has profound experience concerning the processing of different (bio)polymers throughout the complete process chain along with polymer characterization, textile testing, simulation and 3D-design software aiming at developing innovative textile products. The production of textiles from new materials has been investigated thoroughly in this group and publications of general interest were derived from the results of this research.
